If you are not currently ranked within URP LEO, you will need to complete our comprehensive training program before joining the department. Once trained, you'll be ready to serve alongside the finest officers in the field!

Ranked Officers
Are you already a part of URP Law Enforcement and have completed your training and ride-alongs? If so, you’re eligible to transfer to the LSPD. Whether you're seeking a new challenge or simply ready for a change, we welcome officer transfers with open arms.

In most cases, you'll retain your current rank upon transferring, and there's even the potential for immediate promotion based on your experience and qualifications.
